The PLASTICBUG project has officially launched with its Kick-Off Meeting, bringing together the research team from CFE-UC and CESAM-UA.
This marks an important milestone to align objectives, define research strategies, and foster collaboration among partners. The project will investigate microplastics as vectors of pathogens and antibiotic-resistant bacteria in freshwater systems and the food chain, combining fieldwork, laboratory experiments, and stakeholder engagement.
